Information you enter
The app lets you enter nutrition targets, meals, macro information, favorites, weekly meal plans, and shopping-list progress. This information is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains does not operate an account service or developer-controlled server that receives this information.
Depending on your Android device and Google backup settings, Android may include app data in a device backup managed by Google. You can control device backup from Android settings.
Purchases
The Android app uses Google Play Billing for its one-time lifetime-access purchase. Google processes the transaction under Google's terms and privacy policy. Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains does not receive or store your payment-card details. The app reads the purchase and entitlement status supplied by Google Play so it can unlock or restore paid access.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
The current Android app does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or an advertising-ID permission.
Sharing and selling
Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains does not sell personal information. The app does not share nutrition or meal data with the developer or third parties. Google Play handles purchase processing as described above.
Data retention and deletion
Developer retention: Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains does not operate user accounts or a developer-controlled server. We therefore do not receive, store, or retain your nutrition targets, meal entries, favorites, meal plans, or shopping-list progress on our systems.
On-device retention: Data saved in the app's private storage remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete an individual diary entry inside the app. To delete all locally stored app data, open Android Settings, choose Apps, choose Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains, choose Storage & cache, and tap Clear storage (wording may vary by device). Uninstalling the app also removes its locally stored data.
Backups: If Android backup is enabled, Google may retain a backup copy under your Google account. You can review or delete device backups through your Android or Google account backup settings. Backup retention and deletion are controlled by Google.
Deletion requests: There is no remote account or developer-held nutrition data to request that we delete, so the app has no separate server-data deletion process. If you need help deleting local data or believe you sent information to our support address that you want removed, email cooking4gains@schmitz.ca with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will respond within 30 days and delete support correspondence we control unless retention is required by law.
Purchases: Purchase records are processed and retained by Google Play under Google's policies. Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains does not store payment-card details or a separate developer copy of your transaction record.
Children
Cooking & Tracking 4 Gains is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
